Rule 36
Provisions related to employment
: (1) Armed police personnel shall not be generally employed.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), the head office may appoint an armed police officer of the technical service for a specific job or in a vacant position for a fixed period of time as required.
(3) If the post to which duty has been assigned in accordance with sub-rule (2) is filled, the armed police personnel on duty in such a position shall be deemed to have automatically returned to the place of his/her authority.
